Crown Community Development to Host Community Engagement Meetings June 5 and 12 for The Grove Master-Planned Development in Sugar Grove, Ill.
Company representatives, project partners, elected officials to share proposed plans at two public meetings
WHAT:
Please join Crown Community Development on Monday, June 5 at Waubonsee Community College for the first community engagement meeting to learn more about Crown’s proposed plans for The Grove, a 760-acre master-planned community at the interchange of Interstate 88 and Route 47. A second community meeting will be held on Monday, June 12, at the same time and location, for those who cannot attend the June 5 meeting.
The vision for The Grove incorporates several potential live, work and recreational components, including a vibrant town center; multiple residential neighborhoods with a range of housing types; at least 200 acres of open space, including community parks and trails; and areas for retail, restaurants, community services, healthcare and e-commerce distribution or a data center.
In addition to a new Town Hall for Sugar Grove, proposed neighborhood amenities that are intended to benefit all residents of Sugar Grove and the surrounding area range from a tree-covered trail system with walking and biking trails and preserved green spaces featuring community events and outdoor gathering areas to a dog park, playground, area for food trucks and a farmers market.
Company representatives and project partners will be on hand to discuss proposed plans and answer questions from community stakeholders and residents. Refreshments from local vendors will be served.
